Windows 10's update schedule has been rocky to say the least.
To be clear this is talking about feature updates, not security updates. With this little trick, you can keep your machine infinitely more stable. Please keep in mind that you need to have a Windows 10 Pro license to do this. (If you would like to upgrade for relatively inexpensive go here ).Go to Settings>Update and Security>Advanced Options>Choose when updates are installed. Change that to Semi-Annual Channel and right below that defer feature updates for 365 days.
